I'm not sure who was more excited to try theses
EightOnes VR Goggles, me or my kids. WE have another brand and really wanted to compare them. They came super fast and were completely flat when Arrived. There were no real instructions, just numbers on various parts of the cardboard to put them together. It took me a little to figure it out, but I did it. There are a few parts to where it doesn't stay completely set and may need glued or taped or something. These seem to be very basic goggles, but do the same as some of the more expensive competitors. The added head strap makes this amazing and so much easier to use. We just went in and downloaded a variety of VR apps and then tried it out. The other brand we have, has a button which makes it easier to use some of the apps and to change between them, but I know a button wasn't going to happen on a cardboard version. I feel like these worked fairly comparable to other versions we've tried out. And it's nice for kids since you don't have to worry about them destroying something so expensive. I get a bit sick using them, but I get that feeling with most VR goggles. My kids spent hours taking turns playing with them. My only complaint would be kids draining my phone battery. I also worried about the screen, since it pressed up against the cardboard. I was afraid It would scratch or scuff up the screen, and it might if you don't have a screen protector on it. And the construction could use a little more instructions with them.
Overall I'd call them a success.
